My journey into digital marketing started when I was a staff digital marketer working abroad. I got to know the practical side of digital marketing which gave me the clearest picture of how brands become popular on the internet, how the different marketing strategies come about, and how digital platforms play a key role in the success of the business as a whole. This experience on the ground was the starting point of my fascination with the subject and it opened my eyes to the massive influence digital marketing has in our current world that is focused on digital.
My curiosity grew deep as I started learning the basics. I was quite eager to know how search engines work, how social media platforms manage to attract user engagement, and how data, creativity, and strategy combine to give the correct performance metrics. It was only at the start of my work that this job really changed into a passion which then drove me to consider digital marketing as my long, term profession rather than just another skill.
To solidify my understanding I conducted thorough research on the web, I read industry blogs, watched tutorials, and tried different learning paths.
